COVID-19 Update: 301 New Cases reported at 8 p.m. on June 18

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 301 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 4,443 lab specimens within 24 hours with one new death and 106 COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals.

COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 147,069 with 3,251and 133,452 COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital until 8 p.m. on the 18th of June.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America with over 33.17 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, the Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina and Colombia according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 5:31 p.m. CEST on 18th of June 2021, there have been over 177.10 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.84 million deaths, reported to WHO.
