Efforts for Education: Meeting to Provide Aid to Universities

A coordination meeting was held at the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday to provide teaching and research aid to universities under the Higher Education Department. In the meeting,

Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe stressed the importance of aid for the development of universities, the need to provide aid equally, arrangement for the arrival of the aid in time and for places to set the aid, and plans to use them effectively. Attendees reported on requirements and the Union Minister coordinated.

On the same day, the Union Minister attended a coordination meeting at Basic Education Department and called for efforts for improvement in teaching and management. State/Region and District education officers reported on the number of teachers and teaching buildings needed, and, also many other matters.
