Drugs Seizures: Stimulant Tablets and ICE Seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Rakhine State and Shan State. In Maungtaw Township of Rakhine State, 7,755 stimulant tablets and 180 grams of crashed stimulant tablets were seized – 2 women were arrested along with the seizure.

Also, in Tachileik Township area of Shan State, 10,007 stimulant tablets and a gram of ICE were seized – the seizure led to an arrest of a man. Investigation is underway and actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
