Receiving delegation: SAC Chairman received Brunei FM and ASEAN S-G

Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam H.E. Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof and the Secretary-General of ASEAN H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi at the credential hall of the SAC chairman office, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 4th of June.

At the meeting, the views were exchanged on the outcomes of the ASEAN leaders’ meeting convened on 24 April, efforts for the establishment of ASEAN Community, implementation of ASEAN Preliminary Needs Assessment recommendations, ASEAN’s efforts for acquiring COVID-19 vaccine, bilateral relation between Myanmar and Brunei, regarding with the CRPH and NUG declared as illegal organizations, the violent activities carrying out by the organizations and terrorist groups in the country, the voters list irregularities occurred during the 2020 multiparty democracy general election and the status of findings from the scrutinizing process, the condition of holding an election by the time of stability and peace prevailing in the country and the cooperation by Myanmar in providing humanitarian assistance.

Together with the Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Union Ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Ko Ko Hlaing and official, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam and the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN Mr Garry Ramtee Bin Haji Ibrahim and responsible persons attended the meeting.
