Meeting With Families: SAC Chairman Met With Tatmataw Families In Hpa-An

In the meaning of serving state defense duties, keeping the stability and peace of the country is the serving the defense duties in addition to the defence of the country, stability and peace, protection from the natural disasters, extending helping hands in the experiencing pandemic, serving the duties well with royalty, said, the Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the meeting with the officers, other ranks and family members from Hpa-An cantonment in the afternoon on Monday.

In his address at the meeting, the SAC chairman said it’s been four months that the Tatmataw took the state responsibilities temporarily according to the situations occurred in the country and to bring about the genuine disciplined democracy and lasting democracy. Although the acting president handed over the state’s legislative, executive and judicial powers, Tatmataw is carrying out the tasks by complying the state constitution (2008).

Next, the SAC chairman clarified the process of electing president and representatives, voters list irregularities occurred in the election, scrutinizing voters list by the Tatmataw and statements of voters list irregularities and submissions of those irregularities to the stages of levels and the causes led to the present situations.

The SAC chairman added the tasks carrying out by setting the five future programs and nine objectives, process of scrutinizing voters list, efforts for economic relief plans affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts for eternal peace and the necessary instructions for the Tatmataw members.

After the meeting, the chairman of state administration council, commander in chief handed over foodstuff and a responsible official accepted and the wife of SAC chairman provided maternal and child assistance cash and the wife of commander of cantonment accepted. Then, the SAC chairman, Commander in chief and members cordially greeted the officers and other ranks, it’s learnt.
