Yangon Pankhin Project: Union Minister Inspects Issuance of Family Lists, NRCs

Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing visited Hlaingthaya (East) Township to view family lists and national registration cards issuance scrutinizing process under Pankhin Project. There, 60 national registration cards were presented to residents who applied with complete data. The Union Minister also attended the family list and national registration card presenting ceremony at Kanaung Hall of the Township.

In his address, the Union Minister stressed the importance of complete data to get the family lists and national registration cards. Also, calling for public cooperation, the Chairman of Yangon Region Administration Council U Hla Soe explained the Pankhin Project.

In this ceremony, 10 family lists and 50 national registration cards were presented to residents.

After the ceremony, a coordination meeting was held to successfully implement the Pankhin Project, and, the Union Minister highlighted the need to cooperate by the local authority and relevant departments. Implementation of the Project in Yangon Region, plans, cooperation with the relevant departments and requirements were discussed, and, the Union Minister coordinated.

Pankhin Project for issuance of family lists and national registration cards in regions and states began on the 3rd of May 2021 and is set to take place till the 3rd of November 2022.
