Religious Ceremony: Pouring Water on Bo Tree, Maha Pathana Recitation

The 11th pouring water on the Bo Tree Ceremony and the 40th Maha Pathana Recitation Ceremony at DaTuSaYa DatPaungSu Pagoda in Zabuthiri Township took place on Tuesday, full moon day of Kason.

The ceremonies were attended by Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Mayor Dr. Maung Maung Naing and many other officials as well as well-wishers.

The event began with the Chairman and many other officials as well as well-wishers reciting sermons and pouring water on the Bo Tree. It continued with holding the 40th Maha Pathana Recitation Ceremony. In these ceremonies, offertories were offered to Sayadaws – also, Sayadaws and audiences shared the merit gained.
