School Enrollment: Enrollment at TTC in Yangon

Basic education schools across the country have started School Enrollment for 2021-2022 Academic Year on the 24th of May till the 31st of May.

At TTC in Yangon, Grade - 4, 5, 7, 9 and 11 students are to enroll in the morning and Kindergarten and the rest grades are in the evening. Parents and students who enroll need to stand 6 feet apart, and, when they enter the school compound, teachers make body temperature screening.

Headmistress, TTC, Kamayut, Win Win Nwe said “For enrollment, here, students from our school get priority – regarding new students, we don’t accept those if their parents are not employees and transferred to the area. There is new form for Kindergarten enrollment. Also, Grade-8 students will meet new curriculum.”

At the TTC, students are to attend their classes with the two shifts, 1-week on and 1-week off. Under the free education system, the ministry provides the students with a set of text books, masks and face shields.
