Covid-19 Update: 6 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On May 16

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 6 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Sunday after testing 913 lab specimens within 24 hours.

And, 15 COVID-19 positive patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 143,065 and, 132,115 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals. The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 32.57 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Germany according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 3:02 p.m. CEST on 16th of May 2021, there have been over 162.17 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.36 million deaths, reported to WHO.
