Inspection Tour: Union Minister Inspected Regional Development Works

The Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung and party inspected the construction works of inter-village road and concrete bridges in Taninthayi Township in the morning on May 2nd.

At the construction sites, the respective companies’ engineers in charge clarified the status of completing the construction works and the union minister gave the necessary instructions for the construction works. Next, the union minister and party also inspected the regional development works in BoatPyin Township including construction of 5 miles long earth road and 9 concrete bridges.

During the inspection, the union minister guided for accelerating the construction works to complete within timeframe meeting quality specifications. The union minister and party paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw and Sangha in Dhammikarama Tat-Oo monastery in ZardetGyi Island and offered the offertories.

Then, 47 Salon ethnic elders over 70 years old were provided rice, edible oil, salt and foodstuff and the teachers and students were provided school uniforms and copy books.

Next, the union minister and party inspected the construction works of 66 miles long island circular road, gave necessary instructions and fulfilled the necessaries for the construction works. In the morning on 4th of May, the union minister and party met with the staffs from Kawt-Thaung District Development Supervisory Office and Kawt-Thaung Township women’s cottage industry training school, gave necessary guidance and provided office uniforms.

Then, the union minister and party inspected the staff housings in Kawt-Thaung Township women’s cottage industry training school and Kawt-Thaung District Development Supervisory Office, mess halls, motor sewing mechine training building which is under construction in current fiscal year and fulfilled the necessaries.
