
Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko on Friday inspected National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) and heard reports on preparations for reopening of courses.
After hearing the reports, the Union Minister stressed the State Administration Council’s efforts for reopening of universities, colleges, institutes and schools as they have been closed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He urged the concerned officials to make efforts to reopen the Master and post-graduate courses of the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay) on the 1st of June, State High School of Art (Mandalay) on the 3rd of May and to provide full teaching aid in line with COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
Also, in the meeting with officers and staff, the Union Minister called for efforts to serve the duty with full energy and to nurture the next generation who will preserve and spread the traditions, customs and arts of Myanmar.
After the meeting, the Union Minister inspected construction of a 3-storey teaching building and a staff housing in the compound of the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay).
