Foreign Affairs: Union Ministers Held Talks With Senior Officials

The union minister for foreign affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and union minister for international cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing held talks with the senior officials of the ministry of foreign affairs, Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.

On the occasion, the union minister for foreign affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin said that the ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of international cooperation are serving the duties without interruption of momentum since the responsibility has been taken on 2nd February. The chairman of state administration council has made clear the working process to be done and the stance on 8th February and the policies have been promulgated.

So, there are no changes of state policies including foreign policy and the tasks will be carried out in line with the state constitution.

In the international relation, the existing friendly relation will be maintained. It’s important to protect the interest of the citizens abroad and it’s needed to be prioritized to implement. As all are the civil service personnel, the duties vested are needed to serve efficiently. Afterward, the union minister U Ko Ko Hlaing said that the civil service personnel from the ministry of foreign affairs are those who are standing at frontline of the country.

it’s needed to carry out the duty without interruptio of momentum for the good future of the country. In the implementation of democracy, stability, peace and unity, it should not be out of sight on the current global situations. Then, the permanent secretary and heads of department clarified the status of work process and the tasks to be done and the union ministers instructed necessaries, it’s learnt.
