Cleaning Programmes: Pagodas Across The Nation Reopened To Public

The pagodas across the nation are reopened to public starting 8thFebruary in accordance with the COVID-19 rules. Tatmadaw members, members of the Myanmar Police Force and Myanmar Fire Brigade collectively clean and sweep the pagodas.

The cleaning programmes conducted by the Taunggyi-based Eastern Command conducted at Sulamuni Pagoda of Taunggyi in Shan State (South), Sunday.

Similarly, cleaning programmes were conducted in Nay Pyi Taw and at other pagodas, religious buildings, entry and exit ways and surroundings of pagodas located in Shan State (east), Yangon, Mandalay and Bago Regions.

The commanders and officials inspected the works and instructed the necessary things, according to the statement of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
