Regular Operation: YBS Services Operate As Normal In Yangon

YBS Services are running as normal in Yangon starting 2nd February morning, according to Yangon Region Transport Authority (YRTA). Depending on the infection rate of COVID-19 pandemic, the daily bus operations have declined but now more than 3000 buses, three-quarters of the number of buses are resuming operation.

But the number of passengers is nearly 500,000 and that number is less than the regular amount, about 1.8 million passengers. In Yangon Region, there are about 100 bus lines daily and more than 4000 buses are giving services to the people, according to YRTA.
