Relief Flight: Myanmar Seafarers From Abroad Brought Back Home

With the arrangement of Myanmar Embassy in Seoul and the Crew Change Supporting Committee Myanmar, a special relief flight of Myanmar Airways International (MAI) arranged for 125 Myanmar seafarers who were stranded abroad amidst COVID-19 pandemic on January 8, 2021.

The relief flight departed for Yangon at 3:40 p.m via Incheon International Airport and carried 100 Myanmar citizens from Korea, 9 from Brazil, 6 from Panama, 2 from Italy, 4 from Indonesia, 4 from Singapore, altogether 125. For the smooth immigration and transportation at the airport, Embassy staffs from Myanmar embassy in Seoul helped them at the airport.
