


Myanmar will host Group A of the 2027 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers, with the young national team drawn alongside Indonesia, Afghanistan, the Philippines and Cambodia.
The qualifiers are scheduled to be held from November 8 to 20, 2026, with 35 teams divided into seven groups of five and only the group winners advancing to the 2027 AFC U17 Asian Cup finals in Uzbekistan, where they will join the nine AFC representatives from the FIFA U17 World Cup Qatar 2026 who have automatically qualified: Australia, China PR, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
Myanmar has a history of competing in the AFC U17 Asian Cup and recently showed strong form in the 2026 qualifiers, defeating Afghanistan 3-1 and Oman 2-0. The AFC U17 Asian Cup 2027 is scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan from May 12 to 29, 2027.
