Wuhan Virus Situation: Chinese Embassy In Myanmar Holds Press Conference In Yangon

The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar made a press conference on the latest situation of 2019 Novel Coronavirus outbreak on Tuesday. This is to share the updated information of 2019 Novel Coronavirus Infection and preventive measures the Chinese Government has been conducting.

Charge' d' Affaires, Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, Li Xiaoyan said “The Chinese Government has been tackling the 2019 Novel Coronavirus outbreak responsibly and transparently. Under the leadership of Communist party and cooperation of people with unity, we believe to overcome the virus outbreak.”

According to the press, in China, there are 2,0438 confirmed cases, 2,788 severe patients, 23,214 suspected patients, 632 people had been cured and discharged, and 425 deaths till the 12 pm of 3rd February.

The Charge' d' Affaires added that health officials have been using Chinese traditional medicines and Western medicines to cure the patients, to find vaccine and to reduce the death toll from the Coronavirus Outbreak.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes preventive measures and many other processes in China. Local professionals and senior researchers from the universities have been working to prevent and fight the virus.”

There are five main momentum tasks on Coronavirus outbreak in China-enhancement of virus source finding and technology directing, implementation of tightened preventive measures, reduction of severe cases and deaths, reports issuance and international cooperation, and safeguarding the lives of Chinese people and foreign nationals in China.
