Britain's opposition Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn spoke at his last rally on Wednesday before the UK general election which takes place on Thursday. Corbyn is running against the current British prime minister and Conservative Party leader, Boris Johnson, and the race to Number 10 is looking to be incredibly tight, polls suggest. The Savanta ComRes poll for The Telegraph newspaper shows Johnson's party at 41% while Labour was at 36%.
That is a rise of 3 percentage points for the political party. This is also reportedly the smallest lead recorded by the pollster since mid-October. The Opinium poll has the Tories at a slightly larger 45%, and the main opposition party slightly lower at 33%.
