Syrian army troops gather in Northeastern Syria - local media

Syrian army troops gathered in northeastern Syria on Sunday, according to local media. Syrian state news agency SANA reported there were clashes between the Syrian army and Turkish forces near to Ras al-Ain, a town in northern Syria on the Turkish border. The Syrian government welcomed the withdrawal of Kurdish-led forces in the north 30 km from the Syria-Turkey border, state news agency SANA said.
