Zelenskyy calls for Security Council reforms

Ukrainian President VolodymyrZelenskyy told the U.N. Security Council that it is not countering Russian aggression. Zelenskyy referred at length to the failure of the U.N. Security Council to take any action to end Russia's aggression and restore peace, citing its mandate under the U.N. Charter to maintain international peace and security. The 15-member council has been blocked from action by Russia, which as one of five permanent members has veto power.
