Youth Affairs Policy: Youth Affairs Policy Handed Over To MOSYA

The handing over Youth Affairs Policy and related work processes to the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs with a ceremony was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in the morning on Wednesday and the Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Thet Thet Khaing, deputy ministers U Myo Hlaing and U Aung Tun Khaing and the departmental officials attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khaing clarified the drawing Youth Affairs Policy and Youth Affairs Policy related National Level Strategic plan (2020-2024), participation in the youth related programs, meetings and seminars by collaborating with international community including ASEAN and the ministry’s social protection efforts etc.

Next, the Union Minister U Min Thein Zan said that as the youth today are facing the challenges such as technologies, economy, job opportunity and drug problems and the emergence of good spirited, disciplined and qualified future leaders and youth development sectors are the Cross Cutting Issue, the cooperation with the related ministries and organizations will be enhanced etc.

Then, the responsible officials clarified the works done, ongoing tasks and future plans and the union ministers supplemented.
