Yatanabon Hall: SAC chairman Opened Yatanabon Hall

The opening ceremony of Yatanabon City Hall in Maha Aungmyay Township, Mandalay Region was held in the morning on Monday and the Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing opened the Hall.
Also present at the ceremony were the chairman of state administration council and commander in chief of defense services’ wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, members of state administration council, union ministers, Senior Tatmataw officials, commander of central command, departmental officials, civil society organizations, ethnic organizations, entrepreneurs and invited guests.

First, the member of state administration council, union minister for transport and communications general Tin Aung San, chairman of Mandalay region administration council U Maung Ko, chairman of Myanma Economic Corporation Lt. Gen. Nyo Saw, chairman of Mandalay City Development Committee, Mayor U Kyaw Hsan opening the hall by cutting the ceremonial ribbons.
Next, the Chairman of State Administration Council, Commander In Chief of Defense Services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing opened the hall by pressing the automatic button, sprinkled the inscription of the hall with scented water and took a documentary group photo marking the opening ceremony.
In his opening address, the chairman of state administration council, commander in chief of defense services, senior general Min Aung Hlaing said that Mandalay city is located at the commercial and transportation hub upper Myanmar, the city is developing with the developments of infrastructure.
By opening Yatanapon Hall, it will render the quality services and bring the improvements of economic, social and cultural sectors of the people. Next, the SAC chairman narrated the history of Mandalay, developments of handicrafts and cultural works of Mandalay, Kuthotaw pagoda and Tipitaka stone scriptures which is well known as the World Largest Book and Memory of the World Register list recorded by UNESCO, the situation of losses and damages in war-torn Mandalay etc.
Then, the project director of Myanmar Economic Corporation U Khin Maung Soe clarified the constriction of Yatanapon Hall and the status of services to be given by the Hall with video clips. Then, the chairman of Myanma Economic Corporation presented memorable gift marking the opening ceremony of Yatanapon Hall to the SAC chairman.
Next, the cultural performances, entertained by the cultural performance group and dances and songs by Myoma Musical troupe were enjoyed and the SAC chairman handed over the gift and cash of honor to the cultural performance group and Myoma Musical troupe and took a documentary group photo. Then, the chairman of state administration council and members observed around the Yatanapon Hall and the responsible officials took them around the hall, it’s learnt.
