Xi says ready to join president of the Republic of the Congo for stronger strategic partnership

Chinese President Xi Jinping exchanged congratulations on Thursday with the Republic of the Congo President Denis Sassou on the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and vowed to join Sassou in promoting the strategic partnership of the two sides.

Sassou also said both sides have engaged in extensive cooperation with fruitful outcomes and willing to further consolidate and deepen the friendly cooperation between the Republic of the Congo and China on the basis of mutual trust and mutual benefit.
