Xi Jinping sends message to 14th China-U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday sent a message to the 14th China-U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

In his message, Xi noted that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. Xi voiced the hope that people from all walks of life in the two countries would take the summit as an opportunity to deepen exchanges and build consensus.

He also called for using tourism cooperation to promote people-to-people exchanges, continue friendship between China and the U.S., and help translate the San Francisco vision into reality.
