World's largest gaming expo Gamescom 2026 kicks off in Cologne

The world's largest trade fair for computer and video games Gamescom kicked off in Cologne of Germany on Wednesday.

The trade fair is open to trade visitors and media representatives and the five-day event is attended by more than 1,600 exhibitors from 67 countries and regions, over 70 percent of whom are international companies.

Jointly organized by the Cologne Exhibition Center and the German Games Industry Association, Gamescom 2026 features game tryouts, Cosplay shows, board and car games, artist zone, campus recruitment and sales of game-related products on a total exhibition area at the Cologne Exhibition Center.
