World MSME Day: Commemorative Event held in Nay Pyi Taw

The Ministry of Industry on Friday organized the World MSME Day ceremony under the theme "Enhancing the role of MSMEs as drivers of Sustainable Growth and Innovation.”

Vice Chairman (1) of the MSME Development Work Committee Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein attended the ceremony and made a speech, highlighting the role of MSMEs in poverty reduction and achieving the sustainable development. H

e stressed the need to extended production of MSME products, and pledged for support of the government for MSME development in the country. This was followed by screening of a video clips on MSME Products Exhibition and Competition. After the ceremony, the attendees viewed the display of MSME products from Union Territory (Nay Pyi Taw).
