The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2020, under the theme "Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World", is scheduled to take place on Jan. 21-24 in Davos in Switzerland, the WEF announced at the press conference on Tuesday. According to the founder and executive chairman of the WEF, this year's program will focus on achieving maximum impact on the Forum's platform for public-private cooperation across six core areas of activity: ecology, economy, society, industry, technology and geopolitics.

Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab said "The best way to foster more cohesive and inclusive society is to provide everybody with a decent job and income. As far as more sustainable world is concerned, the meeting will serve to make clean investment mainstream, it will encourage engagement of partners and members to become carbon neutral. So restoration of our eco-systems is the priority for this coming decade."

Nearly 3,000 leaders from all over the world, including 53 heads of state or government, will attend the meeting, according to the WEF.
