Working Visit: SSPC Chairman arrives Tianjin, China

Myanmar delegation led by Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday to pay a working visit to China at the invitation of President Mr Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China.

The Acting President was accompanied by Commission Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Commission members Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Chief of Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Kyaw Swar Lin, Union Ministers Dr Wah Wah Maung, U Min Naung, and U Chit Swe, Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, senior military officers from the Commander-in-Chief Office, the Deputy Ministers and concerned officials.

On arrival at the Binhai International Airport and Tianjin, the delegation was welcomed by Chinese Minister for Natural Resources Mr Guan Zhiou, Myanmar Ambassador to China U Tin Maung Swe, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms Ma Jia, and Myanmar Military Attaché Brig-Gen Zaw Zaw Naing. The Acting President was extended a red carpet welcome at the airport, including a salute of the Guard of Honour and cultural performance.
