Work Undertakings: Meter Test Lab and earthquake relief housing in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun, along with Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw and officials, visited the Meter Test Lab in Dekkhinathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday, to inspect meter testing operations.

He emphasized the importance of testing meters on time, ensuring quality and safety, maintaining proper records, and distributing meters to townships promptly for public use.

He also visited earthquake-affected staff housing at 33/11 KV substations No. 1 and No. 6 in Zabuthiri Township, where temporary container houses have been provided. The Union Minister viewed the living conditions, including electricity, kitchens, and sanitation, and encouraged residents to maintain cleanliness and follow regulations. He also met with affected staff and families, offering encouragement and providing food supplies.
