Work Undertakings: Eye care service and new office building

Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, accompanied by the Regional Minister for Natural Resources and concerned officials, inspected health care services for eye patients at Kawthaung General Hospital on Friday.

During the visit, the Chief Minister emphasized the Region Government’s commitment to ensuring smooth and effective treatment for patients. He instructed officials to place special emphasis on necessary medical care, the availability of full surgical equipment and coordination with ophthalmologists to enhance treatment services.

He also coordinated with relevant authorities to carry out repairs to the hospital’s eye ward. The Chief Minister and party later oversaw the construction of a two-storey reinforced concrete building for the Kawthaung District Environmental Conservation Department office. He instructed officials to ensure the project is completed on time and in line with quality standards.
