Work Undertakings: City Hall project, vaccination meeting, and provision for IDPs

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan on Friday, inspected the construction of the new City Hall in Myitkyina, which is being built with state budget funds.

Officials reported on the progress, and the Chief Minister instructed for timely completion, meeting quality standards. He later attended a state-level awareness meeting on improving and speeding up vaccination programs.

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of vaccinating children and pregnant mothers to ensure a healthy future generation and thanked health workers and partner organizations for their support. Officials from the Public Health Department explained current vaccination activities and future plans, followed by discussions with partner organizations.

In addition, the Chief Minister met with internally displaced families, staying in temporary shelters in Myitkyina, and provided rice, cooking oil, and eggs to 332 households from seven temporary camps. The Chief Minister said the state government will continue to support displaced families with food, health, and social assistance and called for cooperation in peace and development efforts.
