Work Implementations : December Mass Walk and Futsal Competition

Marking the Annual December Mass Walk and the Collective Physical Exercises for ensuring public health and physical strength of all entire people, the Rakhine State Government organized the Mass Walk on Saturday.

At the event, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, together with his wife, the Patron of the State Women Affairs Committee, the State Attorney General and State Government members signaled the opening of the event and joined the activity with the participants.

They started walking from Rakhine State Government Office through May Yu Road and Thatta Htana Road to the Danyawaddy Stadium. The participants also took part in the collective physical exercises. A total of 500 participants, including departmental personnel, teachers, students, social organizations and local people, participated in the mass walk activity.

Subsequently, the State Chief Minister and Members encouraged the Inter-Department Futsal Tournament, marking the 51st anniversary of Rakhine State Day at  the Danyawaddy Stadium.  They enjoyed the match between the Sittwe University Football Team and No.(12) Security Police Force Sub-unit Team at which the later won the match with 5 – 0.
