Work Implementation :Cash donation and meeting for budget

Rakhine State Government held a work coordination meeting at the meeting hall of the State Government Office on Friday with the attendance of Chief Minister U Htein Lin and departmental officials.

Prior to the meeting, cash donation was provided to Shwe Karuna Foundation (Sittwe) by the Chief Minister. The Foundation was establish in 2010 with the aims to provide free health care assistance to those in needs, The foundation has so far provided health care assistance to over 226,500 general patients, 6,618 Ophthalmic Surgical Patients and 25 kidney disease patients in collaboration with doctors, specialists and nurses from 500-bedded Sittwe General Hospital, Tatmadaw and NGO organizations.

As the Foundation in Sittwe monthly  pr0vides health care assistance to over 1,000 patients, the Chief Minister stated the donation provided by the Rakhine State Government could help for those in needs. The secretary of the foundation clarified about the foundation and expressed words of thanks.

Then, the Chief Minister attended a work coordination meeting at the office. The departmental officials reported on the current working tasks and work completion implemented by State Budget Fund (Capital). The Chief Minister instructed for timely completion of the tasks in 2025-2026 Fiscal Year in accordance with the directions and procedures of budget allowance, urging all to utilize the budget systematically without wasting.
