Work Coordination Meeting: Plans for 2026 matriculation exams

Shan State Government held a work coordination meeting on successfully holding of 2026 Academic Year Matriculation Examination at the meeting hall of the State Government Office on Thursday.

Chief Minister U Aung Aung attended the meeting with concerned officials and made a speech. The Chief Minister stressed the needs for cooperation of all related department for successfully conducting the examinations with high passing rate, ensuring the safety of all students who will sit for the exam.

This year, 68 exam centers will be opened for 13,902 students in Shan State (South), 6 exam centers for the entrance exam of University of Agriculture and Livestock Breeding for 406 students within the state, 12 exam centers for 29 students in Shan State (East) and 8 exam centers for 1,777 students in Shan State (North).

The Chief Minister instructed for smooth transportation process of answer papers after the exams, urging all concerned individuals for high passing rate, providing secure environ for the students during their exam period. The attendees made discussions on preparation measure for health care services, camp training for the students, conducting of examination without any examination fraud, and fire preventive measure at the buildings where the answer papers will be stored. On the reports, the Chief Minister gave necessary requirement and delivered closing speech.
