Welcoming victorious Team: YGN CM attended welcoming victorious team

The ceremony honoring the winners of the 26th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition, held in Nay Pyi Taw, took place on October 14 at Myanmar Convention Center (MCC) hall in Yangon. The Yangon Region representatives, who competed and won 30 gold medals, 21 silver medals, 8 bronze medals, and 1 honorary award, achieving first place, were celebrated.

At the ceremony, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, members of the region government, department officials, university rectors, students, and responsible personnel presented flower bouquets and individually welcomed and congratulated the victorious Yangon Region representatives.

Following that, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein delivered a welcoming speech at the event.

Afterwards, a video clip of the competition records was shown, and a luncheon was held in honor of the winning contestants and attendees who represented Yangon Region in the competition. The luncheon for the winning contestants was hosted and by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, members of the region government, the winning contestants, and officials who represented Yangon Region sang the song "Golden Radiance over Yangon."

In total, 367 contestants and administrators from Yangon Region participated in the competition. After the competition, they had rightfully won first place. The Yangon Region government will hold an award ceremony to honor the winners and all participants it’s reported.
