Welcoming Ceremony: Dawei University Ushers Newly Appointed Tutors

The tutors/demonstrators who have been newly appointed to the respective subjects in Dawei University, Taninthayi Region were welcomed with a ceremony at the convocation hall of the university on Friday.

At the event, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko said that the government is emphasizing on the economic, health, social and education sectors for the development of the nation. For the development of a nation, education sector plays a key role and measures have been made to appoint more teachers in the respective universities.

He expressed his appreciations on the appointment of 46 new faculty members for the respective subjects in Dawei University.

The refresher course will be opened for the new teachers to be more qualified in the respective fields. He urged the refresher teachers to train and teach the students to have good descipline and moral, to be honest and to be graduated ones.

Later, the Chief Minister and officials cordially greeted new lecturers and demonstrators.
