Waso Robe Offering: UAG Office Held Waso Robe Offering Ceremony

The Office of the Auditor General of the Union (Head Office) personnel’s 16th edition of Waso Robe offering ceremony was held at the main hall of the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 10 a.m. on July 6 and the Auditor General of the Union Dr. Kan Zaw and wife offered Waso Robe, offertories and Soon (day meal) to the members of Sangha.

The ceremony was attended by the invited 10 members of Sangha from Phayagyi monastery and Yatanabommithara monastery from Pyinmana Township, permanent secretary, director general (inspection), deputy permanent secretary, deputy director generals, directors, officers and staff members. First, the congregation observed five precepts administered by the presiding Sayadaw of Phayagyi  monastery.

Then, they took the Paritta Suttas recited by the members of Sangha and offered offertories and Soon (day meal) to the members of Sangha. Afterward, the congregation took the sermon delivered by the presiding Sayadaw of Yatanabommithara monastery and shared the merits gained.
