Waso Robe Offering: Taninthayi Region Government Organizes The Ceremony

Organized by Taninthayi Region Government, 1384 Waso robe offering ceremony was held at Sasana Beikman in Dawei on Wednesday.

Taninthayi region Chief Minisiter U Myat Ko attended the ceremony and offered golden robe, flowers, water, light and fruits to the Buddha Image in the Sasana Beikman. Later, the congregation led by the Regional Government received Five Precepts from Presiding Sayadaw of Zayawady Teaching monastery in Dawei Buddhanta Thuriya and listened to the religious sermons from members of the Sangha. The Region Chief Minister then supplicated religious matters and the Regional Government offered waso robes and offertories to Sayadaws and monks.

The congreation then listened to the sermon from the Presiding Sayadaw of Gawthita Rama Pali Tekkatho Monastery and shared merit gained.
