








Vice President U Nyo Saw, and wife visited the Nay Pyi Taw City Mayor's Maha Thingyan Pandal, Pyinmana Township, and the Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan on April 16.
They toured the Thingyan Festival celebrations in keeping with Myanmar traditional Thingyan customs. First, the Vice President and his wife arrived at the Nay Pyi Taw City Mayor's Maha Thingyan Pandal, where they were welcomed and greeted by the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, U KanMyint Than, members of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, and responsible officials.
Afterward, the Vice President and his wife watched the performances by famous vocalists in conjunction with the Myanmar Radio and Television modern music band, as well as performances by Yein dance troupes. Following this, the Vice President and his wife visited the Pyinmana Township Walking Thingyan Festival.
At the central pandal, they watched performances of vocalists and Thingyan Yein dance troupes, and the public joyfully participating in the Thingyan Festival. Subsequently, the Vice President and his wife, together with the Patron of the Pyihtaungsu Hluttaw and Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw, U Aung Lin Dway, and his wife, and Union Ministers, visited the Nay Pyi Taw Walking Thingyan being held vibrantly at the Nay Pyi Taw People's Square.
They watched the public joyfully and peacefully celebrating the New Year water festival at ministry-specific water-playing pandals and participated together with the public in the traditional Myanmar New Year Thingyan Festival.
