Voter List Verification : MOIP Union Minister tours in Wakhema

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing inspected ongoing voter list verification and household registration activities Wakhema Township on Saturday.

He viewed the staff from Township General Administration Department, Election Sub-Commission, and Immigration Office, conducting field checks for accurate voter lists. He also observed the Pan Khin Project Phase-3 household registration and citizenship card issuance process for residents whose ID cards were lost, damaged, or not yet received.

The Union Minister provided guidance and coordinated with responsible officials to ensure smooth implementation. Afterward, the Union Minister met with departmental officers and urged them to work together to ensure accurate voter lists and the successful conduct of the upcoming general election. He also presented foods tot he staff and distributed solar lamps to ward and village administrators.
