Vocational Training: Centre inspected to get NSSA recognition

Deputy Minister and officials from the Ministry of Labour inspected the Yun Nadi Oo Vocational Training Centre in North Dagon of Yangon Region. The inspection to establish this Training Centre as the National Skills Standard Authority NSSA-recognized one and to turn out skillful auto repair mechanics. 

San Oo, Principal, Yun Nadi Oo Vocational Training Centre said "At first, this training centre was turn out skillful workers for local businesses. Later, oversea employment agencies contacted and requested us to turn out skillful workers for abroad too. So, our training centre has been turning out essential skillful auto repair mechanic workers not only for local but also for abroad."

The principal added that the training is conducted according to the rules and regulations of Japan and there are about 12 auto repair mechanics from the training centre working in Japan.   

This Vocational Training Centre was opened in 2022 and the auto repair mechanic course plus practical session and Japanese language teaching takes 4 months. In addition to the auto repair mechanic training course, plans are underway to conduct sewing course, wiring course and welding course.
