Vocational Technical Training: Creating Job Opportunities & Generating Income

With the aim for creating job opportunities for youths and strengthening the connection between vocational education and practical work fields, the Department of Youth Affairs and the Small Scale Industries Department jointly organized vocational technical training No. (1/2022).
The opening ceremony of the training was held at the Gold Camp of Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Complex on Thursday. In the opening remarks, Union Minister for Sports and Youths Affairs U Min Thein Zan said that the Department of Youth Affairs is planning to open more short-term vocational training courses that will get jobs for the youths and improve socio-economic life of the people.
With the technical support of the Small Scale Industries Department, this training is conducted for generating income by the staff in the department and their families on the other hand and to emerge those who want to start their own businesses on manageable scale.
The Union Minister called on the trainees to try hard in learning until they can share their knowledge and skills to others. 20 trainees from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs are attending the course that will be conducted until 27th July and officials from the Small Scale Industries Department will conduct lectures to the trainees.
