Visit to Tatarstan: SAC Chairman Met With Tatarstan President

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and delegation members arrived at the Republic of the Tatarstan on 13th July.

They were welcomed at the Kazan Airport by Deputy Prime minister Mr. Nigmatullin Rustan Kamilievich and officials. The Prime Minister and party later went to the Presidential Residence where they were greeting by Tatarstan President Mr. Rustam Murgaliyevich Minnikhanov.

They later held a separate meeting and exchanged gifts. It was followed by a meeting between the Myanmar delegation and officials from the Tatarstan. Both sides exchanged views on promoting the diplomatic ties and friendly relations between Russia and Myanmar, economic cooperation, bilateral trade and investment, extraction of oil and natural gas, construction of factories and workshops, maintenance of machinery equipment, industrial development, and cooperation in education, economic and health sectors.

The officials from Kazan also discussed the business natures of each sector and possibilities for cooperation. The Prime Minister and Tatarstan President elaborated the discussions. The Tatarstan President later hosted a honorary dinner to the Myanmar delegation led by SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. During the dinner, the Tatarstan traditional music troupe entertained with songs and cultural performances.
