Visit Kalaw : First Flower Festival to be held at Maw Myay Oo Park

The first-ever Flower Festival will be held at Maw Myay Oo Park in Kalaw of Southern Shan State from January 1 to 16, 2026, with free admission, according to park officials. The festival aims to promote tourism and will feature a wide variety of local and foreign flower species, including orchid gardens and many types of flowers.

Visitors can relax and read at the park library, take photos at designated scenic spots, and enjoy sports facilities, a children’s playground, and local foods. Officials said the festival welcomes tourists and flower lovers from all regions to visit Kalaw and enjoy the event free of charge.
