Virtual Dialogue: Meeting on Chinese astronauts & students from AMS

A virtual dialogue between 3 astronauts from Tiangong Space Station of the People’s Republic of China and students from ASEAN member states was held at the Kyee Myin Daing Township education officer office in Yangon Region on 1st November.  60 Myanmar students took part in the online discussion. 

Kyaw Moe Tun, Deputy Director General, Yangon Region Education Officer Office said "We selected 60 students at the number of 15 students per district. Our students sent questions that they would like to ask the astronauts. In the dialogue, our Myanmar students could discuss in par with students from other ASEAN countries. "

Win Khant Soe, High School Teacher, Practicing High School, Kamayut Township said "I am very satisfied to hold zoom meeting with Chinese astronauts and students from ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore as a friendship. We have known about the space station, spacecraft, their experiences and difficulties. "

The students participating in the discussion said that they have lot of knowledge about how China made efforts and tried hard to go to the space and the living style of the Chinese astronauts in the spacecraft. 

Pyae Sone Chantha, Grade-11, B.E.H.S-1, Dagon said "Chinese astronauts showed their living style in the spacecraft. We are amazed and are interested in their activities. Out of three astronauts, one is female. She said she made more efforts than males. I want to be an astronaut since I was young. We hope China will help and support Myanmar in regard with the space exploration trip in the future. "

May Thet Mon Kyaw, Grade-11, B.E.H.S-2, Sanchaung said "Three Chinese astronauts answered our questions. By looking the female astronaut, I hope the astronauts will come out from our new generation. The saying topics are very useful and knowledgeable. I have many dreams since young. I want to be an astronaut but it will be difficult and I will try hard. I believe my parents will support me."

Chinese Embassy in Myanmar invited to the Ministry of Education to participate in the virtual meeting. By holding such kind of dialogue, it will benefit for the students, Myanmar experts and the implementing countries involving in the space exploration.
