Vigil in Birmingham for former One Direction member Liam Payne

A vigil is held in the British city of Birmingham in honour of former One Direction member Liam Payne, four days after the singer died following a fall from the balcony of his Buenos Aires hotel room.

Grace Kirkpatrick said "To remember Liam for who he was for what an amazing person he was to the love he bought, to the fandom to us to everyone you know he always made us feel loved, made us feel special with his music you know including One Direction, and you know it’s such a tragic loss, especially the way he went, you know it’s something that no one ever wishes on anyone but you know someone in the limelight like this it’s just heartbreaking.

Payne's death has prompted an outpouring of grief and condolences from family, former bandmates, and fans.
