Viettel launches 5G in Peru

Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group has deployed 1,500 5G base transceiver stations (BTS) across all provinces and cities of Peru, establishing itself as the largest 5G network provider in the country.

At the 10th anniversary celebration of its operations in Peru, Bitel, Viettel’s telecom brand in the country, officially launched its 5G service. This launch represents more than just a technological upgrade; it’s a key part of Bitel’s broader strategy to promote economic and social development and enhance the quality of life for the people of Peru.
