Vietnam-S.Korea to bolster strategic partnership

President Vo Van Thuong and his spouse hosted a banquet on Friday for President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol and his spouse, who are on a State visit to Vietnam.

During his meeting with his counterpart, State President Vo Van Thuong affirmed that the upgrading of Vietnam-South Korea relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership has opened up promising opportunities, thanks to a longer vision and higher goals for bilateral ties.

The visiting President also proposed that the two countries enhance people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in education and training. The South Korean top leader said he believes that with such in-depth joint cooperation, the two countries' will further forge a strong relationship and become a model of international relations for the region.
