VietNam sees positive prospects

In the first quarter, VietNam’s trade surplus was 8.08 billion USD, more than 1.5 times higher than last year. This achievement was thanks to the efforts of ministries, branches, and localities, which focused on building action plans according to the government’s direction, along with the hard work of the business community.

The service sector accounted for the largest proportion of GDP growth in the first quarter of this year. The country welcomed more than 4.6 million international visitors, an increase of more than 70% over the same period last year and exceeding 2019—the year before the COVID-19 pandemic.
