Vietnam-Laos enhance tourism cooperation

The Northwestern Provinces of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City Culture and Tourism Week in Laos kicked off on Wednesday night in Luang Prabang province. It’s a 3-day event that showcases a variety of cultural, sports, and tourism exchange activities.
These activities include a photo exhibition that introduces the cultural identity, tourism, and agricultural products unique to the Northwest region, Ho Chi Minh City, and Luang Prabang province. This is the first time a tourism collaboration program has been held between Luang Prabang and it has successfully attracted the attention of both domestic and foreign tourists.
The event demonstrates the commitment of both countries to preserve and strengthen the profound friendship between Vietnam and Laos. Additionally, it aims to enhance international understanding of the northwest region of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.
